Turn documents you cannot sort into data you can.
Before a report can be right, the data underneath it has to be.
One report your management team reads, instead of six nobody opens.
Remove the steps somebody repeats every week.
Start with the question. The tool comes after.
For when your reporting has outgrown a workbook.
The findings, in the form your board will actually read.
We run the reporting cycle, you read the output.
Before You Choose
Picking the wrong shape costs more than picking the wrong service. This is how to tell them apart.
One file converted or cleaned, one batch of records handled. You get an output, not a process. Right when the need will not recur.
You need this when: You would describe it as "this file", not "every month".
A report designed to be produced again on a cadence, with KPI definitions and a refresh guide. Costs more to build than a one-time report, and stops costing after that.
You need this when: The same question gets asked every period.
The manual steps between the data and the report are removed, so refreshing is an action rather than a rebuild. Needs a source that arrives in a consistent shape.
You need this when: Somebody repeats the same sequence, and could describe it in writing.
A modelled, shared, scheduled report with access and licensing designed in. A bigger commitment than a workbook, including for you.
You need this when: Several people need the same view, or the refresh has to be scheduled.
We run the cycle each period — intake, refresh, QA, delivery. Only offered on a cadence we can actually hold.
You need this when: The system exists and keeps not getting run.
What You Get
Eight services. Each has a page stating its inclusions, its exclusions and when not to buy it.
FAQs
Including the ones with answers that cost us something to publish.
Stay in Excel while one or two people read the report, the data fits comfortably in a workbook, and the refresh can be someone opening a file. Move to Power BI when several people need the same view, the workbook has become slow, the report has to work on a phone, or the refresh has to be scheduled rather than remembered. We assess this before we quote and will tell you to stay in Excel when that is the honest answer — it costs you less and needs no licence.
Every package states its own allowance, and it is on the package card rather than buried in terms. A revision means a correction against the scope we agreed. A new requirement is a change request, priced separately — we will always tell you which one we think it is before doing the work, not after.
What affects it: volume, source quality, the number of separate sources, how much cleanup is needed before the real work starts, and whether a refresh mechanism is in scope. Why nothing is published: this is a new practice, and a rate published before we understand our own delivery times would be a number we could not stand behind. We quote after seeing a sample, and the quote does not move unless the scope does.
Send a sample, or just describe the report you need. We will tell you what it would take — and if we are not the right people for it, we will say that instead.
