Turn documents you cannot sort into data you can.

Who this is for. Anyone receiving numbers as PDFs, scans, photographs or printouts, who needs them in a spreadsheet before any of the real work can start.

The problem

What usually brings people here.

  • Your supplier, bank or marketplace sends PDFs, not spreadsheets.
  • Someone is retyping a printed register into Excel every month.
  • The data exists, but not in a form anything can total, sort or filter.

What we need from you

  • PDF, scanned image, photograph, printed sheet or an existing export
  • One sample page first, so we can confirm the source is readable
  • The column layout you want out, if you already have one

What you get back

  • Excel or CSV file, one row per record, typed columns
  • A second pass over every figure, checked against the source
  • A note listing anything illegible, ambiguous or left blank

How it runs

The work, step by step.

  1. You send one representative page.
  2. We tell you the record count, the turnaround and anything the source will not support.
  3. We convert, then re-check the output against the source.
  4. You get the file plus the list of anything we could not read.

On top of this sits the five-stage engagement process that every project follows — including what usually goes wrong at each stage.

The boundary

Included, and not included.

Both lists are published at the same weight, deliberately. A boundary you discover during delivery is a boundary you were not told about.

Included

  • Transcription to your column layout
  • Duplicate detection across the batch
  • Flagging of unreadable or missing values rather than guessing them
  • Consistent date, number and currency formatting

Not included

  • Interpreting what the numbers mean — that is Data Analysis
  • Handwriting we cannot read with confidence
  • Reconstructing values the source does not contain
  • Unlimited volume under a fixed-scope quote; the record count is agreed up front
When we would tell you not to buy this.
  • The source is a low-resolution photograph of a curved or shadowed page.
  • The original spreadsheet still exists somewhere — ask for that instead; it is cheaper and more accurate than any conversion.

What files do you need from me?

To quote: one representative file or page — the messy one, not the tidy one. To build: the sources behind it, in whatever format they already exist. Excel, CSV, Google Sheets, a system export, a PDF or a scan all work. We will tell you what is needed before any full-file transfer, and we would rather see a small sample first than a full dataset we have not yet agreed to handle.

Can you work with sensitive or confidential data, and is an NDA available?

Yes to both. We will sign your NDA — we do not currently offer a template of our own, so yours governs. For anything sensitive, tell us before you send it and we will agree how it gets transferred. Where the analysis does not need identifying fields, we would rather you remove them than trust us with them. We do not publish client data or screenshots without written permission, and we do not claim encryption, ISO, SOC 2 or HIPAA controls, because we have not implemented them.

Why is there no file upload on your quote form?

Because we have not built file storage we are willing to make promises about. Until we have, a share link you control — Google Drive, OneDrive, WeTransfer — is safer for you than an upload box on a marketing site: you can see who opened it and you can revoke it. Ask us on the form and we will send an address to share with.
